Kevin James:  Thanksgiving, man. Not a good day to be my pants.

At a kayaking website I visit fairly frequently, I noticed that someone had posted a Thanksgiving message, and had done so on the very day of Thanksgiving! Gee, I thought, that was a very nice gesture … but isn’t it a bit of overkill in the planning department? Think about it. You would have to start composing your message at least two or three days before Thanksgiving, and who plans that far in advance? No, the best time to voice your Thanksgiving wishes would have to be a couple of days after Thanksgiving. What better way to spend Black Friday than to compile a list of things that you are thankful for, chief among them being that you have finally started digesting all that stuff you ingested the day before, and you have an excuse to avoid that traditional pilgrimage to the mall of your spouse’s choice … “but, dear, I can’t go - I have to finish the Thanksgiving message!”  Continue reading ‘A Belated Thanksgiving Message To And From The MYC’ »
